Rates, Fees, and Payments

The majority of health care plans have a "Psychology Services" category. This allows for a partial or full reimbursement of some or all of your sessions. Many of these plans also allow for partial or full reimbursement of the cost of the Legacy Document provided after a Dignity Therapy session.

The Psychologists' Association of Alberta determines the Recommended Fee Schedule for Registered Psychologists in Alberta. The current recommended fee for Individual Therapy is $235 for a 50-minute session

Equine-assisted therapy sessions cost an additional $35 

Dignity Therapy Legacy Documents cost an additional $200 due to the additional work required for transcription, editing, and printing

The cost of a 1 hour presentation to health care workers, psychologists, social workers, or community members interested in this work is $350

For all therapy sessions and presentations, payment is processed 48 hours before the appointment using the credit card you provide on file. If you need to cancel your session, please do so prior to 24-hours before your appointment time and you will be fully refunded. Receipts for benefit claims or for tax purposes will be emailed to you at the time of payment.
